Jadwiga Igiel-Sak

The distinction was awarded for creating a positive image of Szczecin by her achievements on national and international cultural and artistic scene.

In 1994, Jadwiga Igiel-Sak was first a deputy director and later the head director of Szczecin Philharmonic. She contributed to the development of the artistic level and establishment of good reputation of Szczecin Philharmonic. The involvement of the Philharmonic Orchestra in concerts outside Poland made for the promotion of Szczecin abroad in a meaningful way.
