Monika Pyrek

The champion and record-holder of Poland in pole vault. In 2004, she won the fourth place at the Olympic Games in Athens and the fifth place in the Indoor World Cup.

As a result she joined the most exclusive group of Polish athletes. In 2005 and 2006 she won Polish Indoor and Outdoor World Cup. She has been present in the lead continuously since 2000. She is one of three women next to Wanda Panfil and Anna Jesień who won the World Cups for Poland.
