Honorary Ambassador of Szczecin

The idea to recognise individuals who – through their acts and achievements, have helped promote Szczecin, was born in 2000. Ever since, the honorary title "Ambassador of Szczecin" has been awarded to artists, sportspeople, scientists, writers, and many others.

Master mariner Wojciech Jacobson is one of the most experienced Polish sailing captains.

Dance studio “Shock Dance” was established by Marta and Andrzej Kuźniccy in 1998 and since then the dancers from the studio have promoted Szczecin achieving successes in the country and abroad.

A woman of Szczecin, writer, literary critic, professor of literature. Since 1999 she has been the editor-in-chief of the bimonthly cultural magazine “ Pogranicze”.

A man of Szczecin who started his rower career 11 years ago. A member of University Sports Association in Szczecin, trains under the guidance of coach Piotr Kula.
